Todd Gurley rushed for three touchdowns and Jared Goff passed for 354 yards and a score as the Los Angeles Rams rolled to a 34-0 victory over the visiting Arizona Cardinals in their home opener at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

The Rams' defense held the Cardinals to 60 yards of total offense in the first half and 137 for the game. It was the second consecutive season the Rams pinned a shutout on the Cardinals, doing so last year in a game at London.

The Cardinals' offense did not cross the 50-yard line until quarterback Sam Bradford connected on a pass with Ricky Seals-Jones on the second-to-last play of the game.

The Rams (2-0) were without Pro Bowl kicker Greg Zuerlein, who injured his groin in warmups, but punter Johnny Hekker did connect on a 20-yard field goal in the first half and on a PAT in the fourth quarter. L.A. had three successful two-point conversions, two on rushes up the middle by Gurley. Before Sunday, their last successful two-point conversion came in 2015.

The Cardinals (0-2) struggled on offense for the second consecutive week, as Bradford was 17 of 27 for 90 yards and an interception against his former team. The Rams made Bradford the No. 1 overall selection in the 2010 draft.

Goff, the No. 1 overall selection in the 2016 draft, completed 24 of 32 passes with an interception. Brandin Cooks had seven catches for 159 yards, while Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp added six catches each. Tyler Higbee caught a 3-yard TD pass in the fourth quarter.

Gurley rushed 19 times for 42 yards (adding three catches for 31 yards), leaving toward the end of the third quarter reportedly with leg cramps. Gurley scored on second-quarter touchdown runs of 11 and 1 yards. He added a 2-yard TD run in the third quarter. It was his second career three-TD game.

Malcolm Brown handled much of the Rams' rushing chances in the second half, carrying the ball 12 times for 46 yards.

Going back to Monday night's Week 1 victory at Oakland, the Rams' defense has not given up points in six consecutive quarters.

The Cardinals have given up 58 points in consecutive losses to the Washington Redskins and the Rams.

Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald had three catches for 28 yards, missing most of the second half because of a hamstring injury. Running back David Johnson had 13 carries for 48 yards.
